The special session will focus on the applications of system dynamics to social systems research. Papers addressing issues of social systems, either at the firm, industrial, national, or global level, are welcomed to submit to this session. It is encouraged for intended authors to demonstrate or discuss the benefits and/or limits of system dynamics methodology in their research. Papers with formal models or qualitative ones are well accepted, and we expect a fruitful exchange of various viewpoints and thoughts during this session.
The prospective authors should submit the paper on-line through EasyChair (see the conference website http://www.aiecon.org/conference/wcss2012/index.htm on "Paper Submission"). When submitting, please choose "Applications of System Dynamics in Social Systems Research" as the topic of interest so that it will be separated from other general submissions. The authors are also expected to send an email to the special session organizer to indicate that they have done so. The paper submission deadline is May 15, 2012, and other schedules are the same as what have been indicated in the conference website.
