Mainland Chinese authors

If you are holding PRC's passport, you need to start Taiwan visa application as early as possible or you may not receive the visa on time to attend the conference.

If you reside in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangjou, Xiamen, Guangjou, Chongqing, and Chengdu, you may apply for tourist visa. Please click here for details.

If you will come from other than mainland China, you may apply for tourist visa.  Otherwise, the regular processing procedure is stated here

If you do not belong to the above two groups, you will need a formal invitation letter (stamped with our University Seal).  Please email your English AND Chinese names to Ms. Connie Wang at houning.wang@gmail.com NO LATER THAN July 5, 2012. We should be able to email you a copy of the formal invitation letter within one week. On the invitation letter, we will state Sep. 3 - Sep. 8, 2012 as your traveling days to Taiwan.

In order to process your visa, we need to receive the required documents and visa processing fee (US$45, paid through the conference registration link) NO LATER THAN July 15, 2012.

If by the time when mailing out the application, you have not received the invitation letter, please don't worry. We will attach the invitation letter to your visa application when we receive your application package.
